The pedelecs impress not only with a reduced design language typical of MALAGUTI and modern Italian design, but also with high-quality attachments and components in combination with sophisticated details at an unbeatable price-performance ratio. Each individual model was developed with a clear focus and defined orientation – especially for the respective area of application.
BOSCH engine technology stands for performance, quality and reliability. With up to 85 Nm of torque, the top model from BOSCH’s model series – the Performance Line CX Gen 4 – is one of the strongest representatives in its class and delivers the necessary pulling power even under the highest loads. Nevertheless, it reacts very sensitively to the driver’s effort, especially in low gears. Malaguti uses the Performance Line CX on almost all models.
With four operating modes, the CX offers optimal support of up to 340% for every driving situation. In eMTB mode, the system even automatically selects the optimum support at all times with the help of high-tech sensors, adapted to the riding situation. In addition, this operating mode provides unique support in technically demanding driving situations by means of the Extended Boost feature.
In the majority of Malagutis models, the battery pack is fully integrated in the down tube. Thanks to a patent-pending lid mechanism, these can be easily removed from the frame. Made of high-grade polyamide with glass fiber reinforcement, the cover also serves as impact protection and keeps the battery and electronics away from external influences.
Even externally installed battery packs are beautifully integrated into the frame design and can be removed in a simple and fast way. All batteries can be charged directly via an integrated charging port on the frame of the e-bikes, or, after removal from the bike, externally on the battery pack itself. In addition, all battery packs are secured against unauthorized removal by means of a lockable lock.
The best of both worlds: All our full-suspension models rely on a mixed wheelset. At the front, a 29″ wheel is used for best rollover characteristics, higher smoothness and feeling of safety, as well as excellent lateral support and direction. At the rear there is a smaller rim diameter of 27.5″ for greater agility, faster acceleration, as well as improved freedom of movement in steep sections. The smaller wheel is combined with 2.8″ wide plus tyres for best traction, power transmission and damping uphill, even under extreme conditions.
Our Full Suspension models are based on a proven four-joint suspension system – including Horst-Link in the end – for active suspension work and thus high traction in any situation, even during hard braking manoeuvres.
In addition, the suspension performance has been optimized by a low average rear damper leverage ratio of 2.46 to 1.
We work closely with the most renowned partners on the market, using top products and the latest technologies. Circuit components and brake systems from SHIMANO, tires from SCHWALBE or MAXXIS and suspension forks from FOX or ROCKSHOX are used.
